I like to read about the latest tech but I don’t want to spend all day doing it. I’m like a news commando, “get in get it done and get on with it”. I have a few sites I go to all the time. Of the sites I visit some stand out as very good and deserve to be shared with everybody.

I’ve had a bit of extra time on my hands lately, so I’m going to write some reviews on the software that I’ve used and have an opinion on. The world today is an unsafe place and it doesn’t stop on the Internet. Good fences make good neighbors and good Firewalls make a good Internet experience.
I started for OptiSolar in April 2008. I was hired as the primary IT contact for the Sacramento site of the alternative energy startup from the bay area. I was to be considered for the managers position as the site developed. The Sacramento site was to be the primary production facility for the new company, with over one million square feet and a proposed 500+ employees this was an exciting time to be with the company. I still had to prove myself capable of possibly managing the site.
After working for OptiSolar for only eight months I was laid off. I was told several times by the Director and manager of my department that it was not performance based, but you can’t help but think, what could I have done differently.
